Does Mickey Mouse Hate America?

Disney outsourcing 1,000 info-tech jobs
Hmmm, the article doesn't say where these jobs are going...

About 1,000 information technology workers throughout The Walt Disney Co. will have their jobs outsourced, but few layoffs are expected.

Most workers would be moved into new jobs with two vendors, International Business Machines Corp. and Affiliated Computer Services Inc., after negotiations are completed this month, the company told employees Thursday. The outsourcing is planned to occur in mid-July.
That promises to be a not-so-happy 4th of July in the apparently not-so-happiest-place on earth.

A lot of people who were outsourced were then let go, as opposed to one man who was fired while sitting in the delivery room awaiting the birth by cesarean section by his wife. This is not the first incident of this nature. One gentleman was visited by Disney execs while he was on his death bed....they harassed him until he finally agreed to sign away all of his medical benefits. The executors of his estate rightfully sued.

Does Mickey hate America? Perhaps, but it loves your money. I would not want anybody I knew and loved to ever work there again. We don't shop Mickey any more. We don't like the way they treat their employees or the way they are sucking the life out of Walt's dreams. His memory deserved better.
